Tonnja traded Swiss chalkboards for Canadian landscapes and never looked back. After earning a bachelor’s degree in education and teaching elementary school in Switzerland, she followed her lifelong passion for plants and outdoor spaces into the landscape industry.

Her love for gardening began in childhood, growing up with a large family garden that provided fresh produce for her family of eight. Since relocating to British Columbia, Tonnja has continued developing her expertise through hands-on experience and ongoing horticultural education.

Her background includes leading crews, maintaining high-end golf courses, and creating personalized outdoor spaces for luxury homeowners. She combines technical knowledge, creativity, and a passion for design to bring landscapes to life.

Outside of work, Tonnja enjoys creating art, running her own art business, and mountain biking around Vancouver Island.
