Mark N.

Mark brings a unique combination of customer service experience, horticultural knowledge, and leadership skills to Garden City. Originally from southwestern Ontario, Mark spent over 27 years in the hospitality industry, working across Canada in communities including Jasper, Whistler, and Banff before making Victoria his home.

After discovering his passion for horticulture, Mark made a career change and graduated from the Horticulture Certificate Program in 2011 — beginning a new chapter focused on caring for plants and outdoor spaces.

Since joining Garden City in 2021 as a Maintenance Supervisor, Mark has become an important part of the team, bringing attention to detail, strong communication skills, and a genuine passion for landscapes.

Outside of work, Mark enjoys painting, sketching, cooking, and spending time surrounded by plants.
