Mark M.

Originally from the west coast of Ireland, Mark grew up surrounded by a strong appreciation for plants and gardening, inspired by generations of family members with a passion for horticulture.

His landscaping journey began in Calgary before returning to Ireland to study Landscape Architecture at University College Dublin. During this time, he developed his skills working on high-end residential gardens before returning to Canada and discovering Victoria as his new home.

Mark joined Garden City as a junior Vegetation Management labourer and, through dedication, a strong work ethic, and continuous learning, progressed into a Foreman role.

Today, Mark leads crews in maintaining beautiful landscapes throughout Victoria while sharing his passion for plants, quality workmanship, and outdoor spaces.

Outside of work, Mark enjoys exploring nature and appreciating the landscapes around Vancouver Island.
