Kevin Bennett

Kevin grew up between Alberta and BC, spending about half his life in each location. For the last 10+ years he has been living in Victoria where he moved to complete his bachelor’s degree in physics and astronomy. Since then, he explored areas of interest such as video game development and childcare/teaching before landing in the landscaping industry.

Starting out as a junior laborer, Kevin quickly moved through the ranks being promoted to a crew lead, before trying his hand as a junior project manager, and finally becoming the lead estimator at Garden City. He enjoys how the process of estimating effectively involves creating models and comparing them against reality, and his data driven approach contributes to propelling the company forward at the cutting edge.

In his spare time Kevin enjoys reading, sports of all kinds (especially hockey), video games, and philosophical discussion. He has a strong work ethic, and you can often find him tirelessly toiling away mulling over a problem that is nagging at him. He is liable to turn even the simplest of things into a deep exploration.
